JSON tools for development workflows

Format configuration files, inspect API responses, compare data and prepare patches without uploading your JSON. Large integer IDs and number literals keep their written precision. Duplicate keys are preserved and highlighted; resolve them before creating a patch. Object properties are matched by key, so rearranging them creates no differences.

JSON Patch uses RFC 6902 add, remove and replace operations with RFC 6901 paths. Array comparisons use indexes. Files up to 4 MB, 100,000 values and 128 levels of nesting. Comments and trailing commas are rejected because they are not standard JSON. Nothing is saved in local storage automatically.

Shortcuts: Ctrl/Cmd + Enter to validate; Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + F to format. Tab and Shift + Tab indent the selection. Your JSON content and filenames are never sent to analytics.
